Deep in the Woods
Dappled sunlight filtering down into woodland, and the comforting enclosure under a beautiful canopy, has always one of the places I feel most at rest and able to detach from the hecticness of life. The steep sides of this Yorkshire landscape and clear shafts of light on a summer’s day lent itself perfectly to a dramatic composition; it takes me straight back to the light breeze through the foliage and respite from the heat of the midday sun.
Currently on display at Neighbourhood Coffee, Deli & Bottle Shop, located in Marple, Greater Manchester.
