A5 drawings are £150, with a 50% deposit paid to secure your commission slot.

To secure your commission slot, a deposit payment (50% of the total price) is required. I offer a video call following payment of deposit to discuss your preferences or, if you prefer, I can correspond with you via email. If you would like to enquire before committing to a deposit you are welcome to email me any queries.

To agree your commission you will need to provide one or more high quality photographs of your chosen subject (whether a portrait or botanical). Unfortunately, if the photograph is too low quality I may be unable to fulfil your commission, and will refund your deposit accordingly. Photographs must be taken by yourself, or you must confirm that you have permission from the photographer for the image to be used as reference for a commission.

If you do not have a reference photograph (for example, you would like a specific flower drawn) l will investigate sourcing an appropriate reference myself. If this incurs an additional fee I will inform you directly.

Once the drawing subject and the deadline has been agreed, I will send you one image of the initial sketch to confirm the composition, and proceed if you are happy. At this stage, please note that if you choose to cancel your commission the deposit is non-refundable, as work will have commenced. I can accommodate minor alteration requests at no charge, but significant changes or a second sketch will incur an additional fee.

Upon completion I will notify you and reconfirm your preferred address, ready for the delivery of your bespoke commission!

Your commission be delivered in a beautiful presentation box and protected with acid free archival paper. The perfect gift to yourself or a loved one!

Drawings will be unframed and unmounted, giving you the opportunity to select the perfect complimentary frame for your style and interior. For framing suggestions, refer to my FAQ page.

If you would like mounting or framing services, please enquire and I am happy to provide a quote from my local professional framer. Please note that I will pass on the price at cost, and framing may incur additional packaging and shipping costs, which I will discuss with you before you order.

I only offer a limited number of commission slots each year, and small drawings are normally ready for delivery within 3 months.

If you have a specific deadline please let me know and I will see if I can accommodate it alongside existing work.

Pencil drawings may be damaged if not appropriately cared for. An archival grade fixative has been applied to each piece, to reduce the risk of smudging after delivery, and drawings should be held by the paper edges as the natural oils on our hands may damage the artwork.

The graphite pencils used to create your artwork are lightfast guaranteed for 100 years, as long as it is not displayed in direct sunlight.

Framing your artwork professionally using acid-free mounts will also extend the life of your original drawing, and I recommed requesting non-reflective ‘Artglass’. Compared to standard glass or acrylic glazing this will further protect your drawing from UV damage and does not dull the tone of your drawing.
